A regional drainage scheme

The Blanchardstown project aims to upgrade the wastewater network serving Blanchardstown, Mulhaddart, Castleknock and several smaller towns just outside Dublin.

Once completed, the wastewater capacity of the existing network will be increased. This will reduce the risk of waste water flooding the immediate surroundings and control the volume of untreated wastewater into the River Tolka.
