OXPROPFEST Winners!

The SOLID team are absolutely thrilled to share that our Woodstock Road project has won the ‘Best Residential - Small Scheme’ award at the OXPROPFEST 2022 Awards.

Woodstock Road

Designed and submitted by Adrian James Architecture, Woodstock Road is a key example of how to best utilise a plot to bring a more appropriate density of accommodation to the location. Previously a deteriorating detached family dwelling, the site offers seven luxurious units, each with south facing views and balconies, two also include good sized private gardens.

Whilst these apartments are luxurious in design, Adrian James has also considered their impact on the environment. They have been designed to be airtight with 200mm of insulation. PV panels have been installed alongside high efficiency boilers and MVHR (Heat recovery ventilation).

All at SOLID are incredibly proud to have been a part of this project alongside Adrian James, Woolridge & Simpson, Greenwood Projects, Bright Properties, O and O Electrical, TP Steelwork and EJ Brennan Formwork.

Radley College

Woodstock Road was not our only successful project on the night. Radley College Chapel (submitted by Edgars) was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Project of the Year’ category. Congratulations to all involved. SOLID were appointed as Specialist Stone Façade Engineers supporting OG Stonemasonry and Beard. It was fantastic to work alongside such a strong team which included Purcell, Beard, Ridge and Partners LLP, OG Stonemasonry, Carpenter Oak Ltd, Hoare Lea, CampbellReith, Edgars to name a few!
